1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for Sera ("the Service"), operated by Dipity Digital ("Dipity", "we", "us") at sera.dipity.studio. It forms part of, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service.
2. Billing and merchant of record
Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis. Our payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for orders placed through the Service. Your receipt, invoice, and card statement entry come from Paddle on our behalf.
3. Cancellations
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings in the Service or through the customer portal linked on your receipt. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again after that. We do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period except where stated below or required by law.
4. Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun, because usage credits and generation capacity are made available to you immediately. We will, however, consider refunds in good faith in situations such as:
- a duplicate or accidental charge;
- a technical failure on our side that materially prevented you from using the Service and that we were unable to resolve in a reasonable time;
- a charge made after a timely cancellation, in error; or
- where a refund is required by applicable consumer-protection law.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Paddle. Refunds do not apply to third-party or usage-based costs already incurred on your behalf (for example, media rendering or messaging), and consuming a substantial portion of a plan's monthly credits may reduce or void eligibility for a discretionary refund.
5. Statutory rights (EU / UK and others)
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have. Consumers in the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions may have a statutory right of withdrawal within a set period after purchase; where that right applies, note that by starting to use the Service (generating content or consuming credits) immediately you may be asked to acknowledge that you consent to begin at once and understand this can affect the withdrawal right for the portion already delivered.
6. How to request a refund
Email morgan@dipity.digital from the address on your account with your receipt or order number and a short description of the issue. We aim to respond within five business days. You can also request a refund directly through Paddle using the link on your receipt.
7. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time; material changes will be announced to active customers by email before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
