Who we are
Sera ("the Service") is a content creation and publishing platform operated by Dipity Digital ("Dipity", "we", "us"), available at sera.dipity.studio. This policy describes what information we collect when you use Sera, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us at morgan@dipity.digital.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account — with an email address or by signing in with Google — we collect your name, email address, and profile picture.
Content you provide. Sera stores the content you create and upload to do its job: drafts, posts, documents, images, audio, and video, along with the schedules and settings you configure.
Connected accounts. If you choose to connect third-party accounts (such as Google or a social publishing service), we store the credentials needed to act on your behalf, encrypted at rest, and the data those services return (described below).
Usage and technical data. We collect standard technical logs — such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and error reports — to keep the Service secure and working.
Google user data
Signing in with Google shares only your name, email address, and profile picture with us.
Separately, you may choose to connect your Google account inside Sera to power specific features. That optional connection requests the following access, which we use solely to provide the features described:
- Google Calendar (read events; create and update events) — to display your content calendar alongside your schedule and to add content-related events you ask Sera to create.
- Google Drive (read-only) — to let you import files you select from your Drive into your Sera library.
- Google Search Console (read-only) — to show search performance for your own sites inside Sera's analytics.
- Google Analytics (read-only) — to show traffic metrics for your own properties inside Sera's analytics.
Sera's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and humans do not read it except with your permission, for security purposes, or as required by law. You can disconnect Google at any time from Sera's settings or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- To generate, schedule, and publish content at your direction.
- To show you analytics about your own content and properties.
- To communicate with you about your account and the Service.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of infrastructure and processing providers to run Sera. Data is shared with them only as needed to provide the Service: hosting and database infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase), AI generation providers used to create content you request (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and ElevenLabs), media processing services used to produce clips and renders you request (such as Creatomate and OpusClip), publishing services you connect (such as Typefully), and email/SMS delivery (Resend, Twilio). Each provider processes data under its own contractual obligations to us.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual content at any time inside the Service. To delete your account and its data entirely, email morgan@dipity.digital and we will remove it within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Encrypted database backups roll off automatically on a short cycle.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Data is encrypted at rest by our infrastructure providers, third-party credentials are additionally encrypted at the application layer, and access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel. Workspace data is isolated per customer with database-level access policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email morgan@dipity.digital — we honor these requests for all users regardless of location.
Children
Sera is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and notify active customers by email before the changes take effect.
