Who we are
Sera ("the Service") is a content creation and publishing platform operated by Dipity Labs Inc. ("Dipity", "we", "us"), available at sera.dipity.studio. This policy describes what information we collect when you use Sera, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us at morgan@dipity.digital.
Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account — with an email address or by signing in with Google — we collect your name, email address, and profile picture.
Content you provide. Sera stores the content you create and upload to do its job: drafts, posts, documents, images, audio, and video, along with the schedules and settings you configure.
Connected accounts. If you choose to connect third-party accounts (such as Google or a social publishing service), we store the credentials needed to act on your behalf, encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and the data those services return (described below).
Calls, texts, and meetings. When you call Sera, the call is recorded and transcribed, and the transcript is saved to your workspace. Texts you send Sera, including photos, videos, documents, and voice memos, are saved to your workspace, and voice memos are transcribed. If you turn on Sera Notetaker, Sera joins the meetings you choose and saves their recordings and transcripts. Meeting tools you connect (such as Zoom, Fathom, Granola, or Google Meet) share the transcripts and recordings you import.
X engagement. If you opt in to auto-replies, Sera reads comments and messages on your connected X account, including the public profile of the people who write them, so she can reply as you.
Usage and technical data. We collect standard technical logs — such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and error reports — to keep the Service secure and working.
Google user data
Signing in with Google shares only your name, email address, and profile picture with us.
Separately, you may choose to connect your Google account inside Sera to power specific features. That optional connection requests the following access, which we use solely to provide the features described:
- Google Calendar (read events; create and update events) — to display your content calendar alongside your schedule and to add content-related events you ask Sera to create.
- Google Search Console (read-only) — to show search performance for your own sites inside Sera's analytics.
- Google Analytics (read-only) — to show traffic metrics for your own properties inside Sera's analytics.
- Google Drive (only files you pick or Sera creates): to import the files you choose as context and to create or edit the Google Docs, Sheets and Slides you ask Sera for.
- Google Meet (read-only, optional): to import transcripts of your own Meet calls when you turn it on.
Sera's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and humans do not read it except with your permission, for security purposes, or as required by law. You can disconnect Google at any time from Sera's settings or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
SMS / mobile messaging
If you opt in from your account settings by entering your mobile number and checking the consent box, Sera texts with you under the Sera messaging program: replies when you text her, interview questions and reminders, draft and approval updates, and account alerts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help or email morgan@dipity.digital.
We collect your mobile number and SMS opt-in status solely to deliver the account reminders you requested. We use this information only to send those messages and to honor your STOP and HELP requests.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as our SMS delivery carrier (Twilio) acting solely as our messaging provider, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We never sell your mobile number or SMS consent information, and we never obtain your number from, or share it with, any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- To generate, schedule, and publish content at your direction.
- To show you analytics about your own content and properties.
- To communicate with you about your account and the Service.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Service providers
We rely on these providers to run Sera. Data is shared with them only as needed to provide the feature you use, and each processes it under its own contractual obligations to us.
- Vercel: hosts the Sera web app.
- Supabase: database, sign-in, and file storage.
- Railway: runs background jobs such as video rendering.
- Upstash: rate limiting to protect the Service from abuse.
- Anthropic: AI models for chat, writing, and reasoning.
- OpenRouter: routes some AI requests to Qwen (Alibaba Cloud) and OpenAI models.
- OpenAI: speech-to-text and search embeddings.
- Google (Gemini): transcripts of public news videos.
- xAI (Grok): live X research for your newsroom and replies.
- Groq: speech-to-text for audio and voice memos.
- ElevenLabs: Sera's voice on calls and in audio and video.
- Higgsfield: image and video generation.
- fal.ai: video generation.
- MuAPI: image and video generation (including Google Nano Banana).
- Opus Clip: finding and cutting short clips from your videos.
- Submagic: captions on clips.
- Recall.ai: lets Sera Notetaker join your meetings and record them.
- Bright Data and Jina AI: read the web pages you or Sera look up.
- Twilio: SMS and phone calls.
- Resend: account and notification email.
- Stripe: payments and billing.
When you connect an account, Sera sends data to that service at your direction, for example to publish or import content: X, LinkedIn, Webflow, WordPress, Typefully, Google (Calendar, Drive, Meet, Search Console, Analytics), Slack, Zoom, Fathom, Granola, Dropbox, GitHub, Figma, and any other integration you turn on. Each is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual content at any time inside the Service. Workspace owners and admins can download a copy of the workspace's data as JSON with "Export my data" in Settings. To delete your account and its data entirely, email morgan@dipity.digital and we will remove it within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Encrypted database backups roll off automatically on a short cycle.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Data is encrypted at rest by our infrastructure providers, connected-account credentials are additionally encrypted at the application layer with AES-256-GCM, and access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel. Workspace data is isolated per customer with database-level access policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email morgan@dipity.digital — we honor these requests for all users regardless of location.
Children
Sera is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and notify active customers by email before the changes take effect.
